Dow futures rose 0.14%, S&P 500 futures gained 0.07%, while Nasdaq-100 futures slipped 0.04%. Oil prices stabilized in the mid-$90s per barrel, adding to market uncertainty as the Iran war entered its seventh month.
Meanwhile, traders sharply reduced expectations of an October Fed rate hike, with odds falling to roughly 50% from above 70% a day earlier.
Attention now turns to the PCE inflation report, with core PCE expected to remain at 3.3% year over year.
